One credit is reserved for each connection request you send. If the professional accepts, the credit is used. If they decline or do not respond within 48 hours, the credit is returned to your balance.
For our most senior roles, we charge a fixed success fee instead of a higher upfront connection price — you only pay it once the connection actually leads to an engagement, and you know the amount before you send the request.
If a connection for a Chief Financial Officer, Finance Director, or equivalent senior finance role results in an engagement, a fixed success fee applies based on the cost of the first three months of that engagement, using the rate and time commitment stated in your original brief (currently discounted to £0 — see above):

There is no success fee for other roles — your Connection Credit is the only cost. This is substantially below typical recruitment agency fees, reflecting the fact that you are doing the outreach and negotiation directly.
There is no charge to create a profile, complete an assessment or receive connection requests.
